Sean's 1st Professional Haircut!

We have never brought Sean to have his hair cut professionally. All along, his daddy Steve has been the appointed barber, snipping off bits of Sean's hair whenever we can without him noticing. And it has proved to be a challenge. Nevertheless, Sean's hair has been well-kept this way - he even had people commenting about how cool his hairstyle was!

But today, on a whim, we decided to try it out, to bring Sean for a proper haircut. The weather has been scorching lately and Sean is also having some rashes around his neck and chest area. So a haircut's defintely due.

We were all braced for an upset Sean, hearing how most toddlers would bawl their eyes out during the haircut.

But guess what?

Sean fussed for a while only at the beginning. And it was such a breeze throughout the whole of 15 minutes of the haircut, no tears at all! Of course, the ballon and the Barney-playing TV helped. But I must say, Sean did really well for his first haircut!

And now without a shadow of a doubt, Sean looks so much more boyish! I will slap any stranger who still have doubts otherwise - I still have those questioning aunties and uncles even up till last week!
