6 months already!!

Woohoo!! I am 6 months old today!!

Half a year! Now I weigh 7.8kg and measures 67cm lengthwise. Mummy always complain I'm quite heavy to carry now. Cannot blame me what! Cos she kept feeding me rice cereal, broccoli, pumpkin, apple, papaya, sweet potato, carrots, advocado...and lots and lots of breastmilk!!! Can't complain because I love eating all of them! Yummy yummy!!

I like to move around in the bed so much now!

And I can hold my own bottle now!



Mummy has a fringe now! Finally after 5 months she has straight hair for me to pull!

I Miss Daddy!

Today, Daddy is not at home, cos he is at Bandung attending a meeting.

Where is Bandung?

Daddy says it is a place in Indonesia.

I have already told Daddy to buy back lots of Bandung water for me and Mummy.

I miss my Daddy alot now cos he is such a great playmate.

Sometimes, I see Mummy the whole day until so sian already.




Daddy's return from work in the evening is one of the highlights of my day!

And I will always smile so much at him when I see him!

I miss Daddy very very much.

Dr. Who?

Recently, we attended a relative's wedding.

The moment we arrived, with Sean in my arms, some of the older folks announced:
"Here are the PhD 博士s! Oh, and here is their little 博士!"

And I would smile, nod and look away almost immediately, secretly wishing that the ground would open up and swallow me.

Alone.

Well you see. Steve's PhD was well-earned and well put to use.

Mine too. Don't get me wrong. I do feel immensely proud that I've gotten my doctorate and can be rightfully addressed as Dr. Foo.

But everytime people ask and I have to answer about this qualification, I'd feel rather sheepish.

Cos what follows would usually be the question:
"So what are you working as now?"

And when I have to say that I'm unemployed and am a fulltime mother, I can't help but suspect that deep inside they would be thinking:
"Chey. PhD so what. Don't even have a job. Not earning any money. Pui."

Seriously, either I ought to start perishing such thoughts, or I have to get a job real soon.

Is this succumbing to social pressure, I don't know.

But one thing's for sure.

I would definitely miss Sean very much if I have to work and be away from him.

Sean's my everything now you know.

Sean is 5 months old!

Hi, I'm snooping around Mummy's blog while she's asleep. Let u all see some cute cute photos of me, want? Sshhh...

This is how I look while the adults burp me. How boring right.

And sometimes when they put me on my tummy, I will try and look very excited so that they think I'm having a really good time. Well, it's so-so only. I mean, what else can I do now right? I can't possibly jump and walk around now right?

And sometimes when Mummy is not quick enough to feed me, my trusty fingers does the job.

And Daddy likes to carry me so much he doesn't want to put me down to sleep. So I have to fall asleep in his arms like this. So uncomfortable can.

Mummy wants to train me to hold my own bottle with this funny ring holder. Drop lor.

And Mummy gave me her breastpad to play with.
